G. Dennis Shay

Dennis joined the firm in 1980 and has served as partner, primarily focusing on taxation. In his current role, he provides tax services to his clients while passing on valuable information to both clients and staff during his transition into retirement. Dennis maintains his CPA license. Prior to joining the Bumgardner Morrison team, Dennis worked as a comptroller of a tire retailer in the state of Ohio. Dennis also formerly held the designation of Certified Financial Planner^TM in addition to passing the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams.

Dennis earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at Ohio University. Dennis and his wife, Sherry, enjoy spending time with their three children, six grandchildren and pets. Dennis also loves a day on the golf course or on the go in their RV!
