Michael Wenske started working at Bumgardner Morrison in June of 1983. In his time here, he has worked his way from staff to Managing Partner and Financial Advisor. He holds his CPA license and FINRA Series 7, FINRA Series 66, and Texas Resident Life and Health Insurance licenses. His current roles include accounting & consulting work, tax planning and preparation, wealth management, and managing the firm. One of his many specialties is bank and financial institution accounting. Prior to joining the firm, Michael had 3 years of auditing experience at Main Hurdman’s Houston office. He is a member of the AICPA and TXCPA.
Michael attended Southwest Texas State University and earned a BBA in Accounting in 1980. Michael was also presented the Accounting Excellence Award. This award recognized his demonstrated achievements at all levels of coursework, his mastery of accounting knowledge, and helped predict his future leadership status in the professional accounting environment.
Michael’s interests outside of work include family, religion, and sports, especially basketball. He is a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather to his wife, Mary, their 7 children and 16 grandchildren.

Chris began his career with BumgardnerMorrison in 1973 as a staff accountant. He earned his way up the ranks, serving as a partner and managing partner. In his retirement, Chris continues to serve the Firm as a CPA consultant.
Chris is very active in the community and has held many leadership roles with both professional and civic organizations. He is currently a member of the Victoria Chapter of the TSXPA, the TXCPA and AICPA, as well as the Knights of Columbus Council, Columbus Club, Serra Club and Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Outside of the office and serving his community, Chris and his wife, Beverly, love traveling and spending time with their family – especially their grandchildren.

Dennis joined the firm in 1980 and has served as partner, primarily focusing on taxation. In his current role, he provides tax services to his clients while passing on valuable information to both clients and staff during his transition into retirement. Dennis maintains his CPA license. Prior to joining the Bumgardner Morrison team, Dennis worked as a comptroller of a tire retailer in the state of Ohio. Dennis also formerly held the designation of Certified Financial PlannerTM in addition to passing the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams.
Dennis earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at Ohio University. Dennis and his wife, Sherry, enjoy spending time with their three children, six grandchildren and pets. Dennis also loves a day on the golf course or on the go in their RV!

Jennifer Farris started with Bumgardner Morrison in January 2019. She currently works as a Tax and Accounting Supervisor. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Business with a focus in accounting and also earned a Master of Accountancy from UHV. She has passed 3 parts of the CPA exam to date.
Jennifer has a total of 13 years of accounting experience primarily with a focus in taxation and governmental and non-profit accounting. She previously worked for another accounting firm. Clients enjoy working with Jennifer because she is always eager to help and aims to break things down and explain them in a manner that the average person can understand.
Jennifer was born and raised in Victoria. She has a daughter, son, 1 cat and 3 dogs.

Danielle joined Bumgardner Morrison in 2022 as a senior. Danielle graduated from the University of Houston – Victoria with a Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting in 2018. A year later, she graduated with a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Global business - Accounting. In March of 2023, she officially became a CPA.
Prior to joining Bumgardner Morrison, Danielle worked at another public accounting firm for five years.
Danielle assists with tax preparation, financial statement preparation as well as payroll reporting.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband, Walker, on their farm and baking.

D’an Kocian joined Bumgardner Morrison in 2017 as a Professional Staff. Since starting, D’an has worked on multiple audit engagements and is currently assisting with bookkeeping and tax returns for various entities.
D’an graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in accounting. She enjoys spending time with her family, including husband, Chad, and children, Allie & Cole.

Kelley graduated high school from Conroe High School in 1996. She earned a BBA with a major in Accounting from Texas State University.
Her past careers at the IRS, Texas Workforce Commission, and Special Olympics of Texas provide her with valuable insight into various client needs in tax and accounting services.
She is a mother of twin daughters and has 3 dogs (a cockapoo, a labrador, and a bloodhound). Her favorite place to be is anywhere with her girls or the beach or both.

Michael Sierra-Hoffman joined Bumgardner Morrison in 2021. While here, Michael completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UHV and became licensed as a CPA in 2023.
Michael is a staff accountant and works in tax preparation and accounting services.

Michelle joined Bumgardner Morrison in 2020 and is responsible for financial statement reviews and compilations, bookkeeping services, and special engagements. She previously provided accounting and bookkeeping services for a regional oil and gas corporation.
Michelle graduated from the University of Houston–Victoria with her Global Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. She is currently working towards attaining her CPA license. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Julie Williams joined Bumgardner Morrison in 2007. She works as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. She has also worked in our audit department.
Julie earned a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M in 1985. She is a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her family – her husband, kids and especially her grandchildren.

James Meitzen, better known as Ike, joined the Bumgardner Morrison team in 1970. He currently serves as the Client Services Manager where he supervises the client services department. He reviews bookkeeping, financial statements, payroll reports, W-2s, and 1099s; prepares tax returns; and assists in the Firm’s payroll, bookkeeping, financial statements and reporting. Ike has also held roles within Bumgardner Morrison’s auditing and tax departments.
Ike earned an Associate of Arts degree from Victoria College in 1968 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas in 1970. In his off time, Ike enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his family – Marva, his wife, their children and grandchildren, and their dogs.
